A faux fur coat for Rabanne’s Fame Couture fragrance

2025/01/23

Puig-owned Rabanne has introduced a new limited-edition to its Fame women’s fragrance range. The flacon produced by Heinz Glas is enveloped in a coat made with imitation fur and cinched with a gold belt.

Fame The Couture Edition is a new limited-edition scent in Rabanne’s Fame franchise. The women’s eau de parfum, composed by dsm-firmenich perfumers Dora Baghriche and Marie Salamagne, blends notes of incense, iris and vanilla balm. Billed as vegan, the scent is composed of 86% ingredients of natural origin.

A faux fur accessory

Fame’s flacon (Heinz Glas) is decorated with an all-over gold metallization. For this edition, the bottle sports a removable accessory made of black imitation fur and cinched with a gold belt (GPA Global France). The supplier developed the material specifically for the brand, working with different lengths to obtain a fur that is “light and airy”. The belt is made of gold e-coated zamak. A nod to rabanne’s eight jewel, it also features the brand’s logo.

For the secondary packaging, GPA Global France produced a tinplate coffret that is offset printed. The front of the box features a window in 100% RPET decorated with hot stamping and gold metallic stickers. It slides upwards to allow access to the fragrance inside. The bottle sits within a cardboard insert: the weight of the bottle required it to fit securely into both the podium-like base and the back of the insert.
