Speakers 2023

LUXE PACK MONACO invites luxury brands decision makers and the best experts for testimonies and best practices.

Ludovic DU PLESSIS

President & General Director

CHAMPAGNE TELMONT

Ludovic du Plessis is President of Maison Telmont.

Passionate about wine and gastronomy, Ludovic has spent the last twenty years working in the world of high-end wines and spirits: first at Dom Pérignon and Moët & Chandon, then, from 2014, at Rémy Cointreau within the Louis XIII cognac house, as Global Executive Director.

In 2020, Ludovic became an intrapreneur: he convinced the Rémy Cointreau group to invest alongside him to take over the Telmont Champagne House, a family business more than a hundred years old already committed to the organic conversion of its estate. Based on shared values – respect for terroir and people, courage, humility and loyalty – the magic happened, and Telmont adopted an ambitious vision: to produce champagne of the highest quality with absolute respect for the environment.

This ambition materializes in the “Au Nom de la Terre” project, which enables Telmont to drastically reduce its environmental footprint, through radical decisions: abandoning unnecessary packaging, special bottle formats and air freight, purchasing green electricity, continuing the conversion to organic, reducing the carbon footprint of bottles…

In 2022, Ludovic invited a new investor to take a stake in the company: Leonardo DiCaprio, who for years had convinced him that respect for the environment should be a priority for us all. It was only natural that someone so committed to the planet should join Telmont’s efforts “In the Name of the Earth”.

Ludovic is a graduate of Université Paris Dauphine – PSL and Université de la Sorbonne.

Isabelle KATZ

Technical sales

AGRIMER

After studying pharmacy in Champagne and gaining a DEA in cosmetics in the Paris region, where she
integrated Marie Christine Poelman’s formulation laboratories and Monique Adolphe’s cell culture laboratories during her specialization, Isabelle Katz entered the cosmetics industry in 1990. She first joined a manufacturer of plant ingredients, Les laboratoires PhytochimVernin.
This initial experience was to trigger a development career in which the use of plant extracts would be omnipresent in all the formulas subsequently developed by Isabelle and the teams she had the pleasure of leading. This passion for all things related to the field of natural ingredients was successively developed in both technical and commercial positions, in companies such as Payot, Unipex and Croda. So it was only natural that Isabelle joined Agrimer at the end of 2022 as a technical sales representative, convinced that the plants of the sea have unrivalled resources to reveal to us in cosmetics.
