TriMas Packaging Accelerates in Beauty and Strengthens Its Premium Offering
Following the divestiture of its Aerospace business, TriMas is refocusing its strategy on Packaging and Specialty Products. Driven by sustained growth in beauty and personal care, the Group is accelerating in particular in luxury fragrance pumps and recyclable mono-material solutions.
TriMas Corporation ended 2025 on a strong note, with total revenue of $1,042.2 million, up 12.7% compared with 2024, and earnings per share increasing by 27% to $2.09.
Excluding the Aerospace division, which has since been divested, revenue from continuing operations stood at $645.7 million. The Packaging division recorded 4% growth in 2025, generating operating profit of $71 million.
In March 2026, TriMas completed the sale of TriMas Aerospace for $1.5 billion, generating approximately $1.2 billion in after-tax net proceeds. This strategic transaction now enables the Group to focus its resources on its Packaging and Specialty Products businesses, while strengthening its balance sheet and its ability to fund further growth investments.
This momentum continued into the first quarter of 2026. Group revenue reached $168.3 million, up 10.4% year on year. The Packaging segment alone generated $139.2 million, an increase of 9.1%, driven in particular by demand across the beauty and personal care sectors.
Management confirmed its outlook for 2026, forecasting growth of between 3% and 6%, and describing the year as a “reset” year.
Like the packaging industry as a whole, TriMas is also closely monitoring the impact of evolving tariffs and supply-chain pressures. The Group is prioritizing a strategy based on supply-source diversification and disciplined risk management, supported by the financial strength gained following the divestiture of its Aerospace division.
According to Fabio Salik, President of TriMas Packaging, this strategy gives the Group significant flexibility to manage short-term volatility while continuing to invest for growth.
Aarts Packaging, a strategic asset in premium beauty
In the beauty sector, one of TriMas Packaging’s most significant strategic developments over the past two years has been the 2023 acquisition of Dutch company Aarts Packaging.
Specializing in premium caps, makeup cases and lip gloss packaging, the company has enabled TriMas to significantly strengthen its presence in the prestige beauty segment.
“The Aarts facility, which has been renamed TriMas Packaging B.V., is now fully integrated into the Group’s global packaging platform,” explains Fabio Salik.
The site has become a key component of the Group’s European strategy. TriMas has notably invested there in a new range of luxury fragrance pumps, with dedicated production lines initially capable of producing up to 100 million pumps.
Fragrance pumps at the heart of TriMas’ European ambitions
The new range of luxury fragrance pumps was developed in partnership with Z&Z, an Asian manufacturer.
Initially launched in Brazil, the range is now being progressively integrated into the Group’s facility in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, where assembly began at the end of 2025 to serve the European market.
Available in crimp-on, snap-on and screw-on versions, the new solution is designed to provide brands with a sufficiently broad portfolio to meet the main standards of the market.
“This dispenser has already been approved by several major European brands,” notes Fabio Salik.
The Group has set a particularly clear ambition for this business.
“Our objective is to become one of the top three European producers of this type of pump, giving our customers greater flexibility and enhanced security of supply.”
Through this European manufacturing footprint, TriMas also aims to reduce risks associated with international supply chains and bring its industrial capabilities closer to the markets it serves.
Singolo™, TriMas’ mono-material push
Alongside its expansion in the prestige segment, TriMas Packaging is continuing to broaden its portfolio of solutions designed to reduce environmental impact.
The Group is notably developing its Singolo™ range, a platform of dispensing pumps that are fully recyclable and made from a single material.
The range includes a new APR-certified recyclable foaming pump, designed to facilitate compatibility with existing recycling streams.
With Singolo™, TriMas is responding to a fundamental shift in the market: growing demand for dispensing systems that are easier to recycle while maintaining the technical performance expected by beauty and personal care brands.
Through industrial expansion in Europe, growing ambitions in prestige fragrance and investment in mono-material solutions, TriMas Packaging is seeking to consolidate its position in the beauty market while further strengthening security of supply.
The divestiture of its Aerospace business now gives the Group the financial resources to accelerate this transformation and establish Packaging as one of its key growth drivers.
