Anaïk rethinks luxury packaging to extend the experience beyond the product
On the occasion of LUXE PACK Monaco 2026, Anaïk is unveiling a new collection of 20 premium creations. Designed around the evolving uses of luxury packaging, the collection puts the focus on experience, sharing and giving products a second life.
As unboxing continues to gain prominence on social media and influencer kits become powerful communication tools, Anaïk is evolving the way it approaches packaging design. The company now creates objects intended not only to contain a product, but also to be seen, shared and kept.Developed over five months by Anaïk’s Design, Development and Purchasing teams, the new collection brings together 20 concepts, primarily created for the fragrance, make-up and skincare sectors. They can also be adapted to jewellery, fashion, wines & spirits and watchmaking.
New formats inspired by evolving uses
With this collection, Anaïk addresses several trends identified among luxury brands: the growing importance of influencer kits, unboxing experiences designed for social media, discovery sets and limited editions, as well as the development of more compact, multifunctional calendars and packaging designed from the outset to be reused.
For Cécile Béniguel, Product Director at Anaïk, this evolution reflects a new approach to creation: the company now starts with consumer behaviours and uses before even designing the packaging itself. The aim is to combine desirability, creativity, eco-design and industrial feasibility, creating objects designed to live well beyond their original purpose.
Designing packaging made to last
This focus on giving packaging a second life goes hand in hand with an eco-design approach. Wherever possible, Anaïk prioritises mono-material structures, while gradually eliminating magnets and limiting the number of assembled components. The company also integrates second-life uses from the design stage, works to maximise recyclability and optimises transportation through flat-pack formats.
When selecting materials, Anaïk notably prioritises paper, cardboard and metal, as well as recycled, recyclable and reusable materials.
Each concept is also eco-scored using EcoDesignCloud, allowing its environmental performance to be taken into account from the earliest stages of development.
Founded in 1973, Anaïk specialises in the design and sourcing of bags, packaging and accessories for major international brands and retailers. The company has six offices worldwide, nearly 100 employees and generated $64 million in revenue in 2025.
The new Innovation Packaging Collection, along with Anaïk’s latest Bags & Luggage and Accessories creations, will be presented at LUXE PACK Monaco, Booth DB12 – Hall Diaghilev.
