Luxe Pack Monaco: luxury packaging confronts its changes
As its September edition approaches, the Luxe Pack Monaco trade show the international meeting point for luxury packaging since 1988 will bring together 380 exhibitors and more than 9,000 visitors around the Grimaldi Forum. With an international share of over 54%, the event confirms its reach beyond the French market, welcoming major luxury houses alongside independent brands, start-ups, SMEs, and large corporate groups.
This year, a "Top Brands" program will strengthen matchmaking between exhibitors and brands: a digital tool will allow appointment slots to be booked in advance, complemented by new face-to-face meetings on site. Themed "learning expeditions" on refill & reuse, new materials, and exceptional craftsmanship will offer personalized guidance from experts.
The luxury packaging sector is undergoing a triple shift: regulatory, with the European PPWR coming into force from August; experiential, driven by growing expectations around personalization and unboxing rituals; and human, with the increasing scarcity of the artisanal know-how that remains essential to the promise of luxury. Faced with these pressures, premiumization and the proliferation of limited series are emerging as both strategic and eco-responsible responses.
The show will also host an exclusive breakfast conference titled "MADE IN – rethinking the luxury packaging value chain," aimed at decision-makers attending in person.
