Coverpla’s ecoBottle at the Heart of Maison Violet’s New Collection
Maison Violet is flourishing with what its founders describe as its “second chance,” and is launching a new collection to follow in the footsteps of Cycle. The brand continues its collaboration with Coverpla, built around ecoBottle, a model of eco-design where décor comes together with purity of design.
Maison Violet, a standard-bearer of French perfumery founded in 1827, needs no introduction. The brand was relaunched in 2017 by three graduates of the Ecole Supérieure du Parfum, Paul, Victorien and Anthony, who from the outset infused their creations with a touch of nostalgia inherited from traditional perfumery. They champion fragrance signatures that appear familiar yet entirely new, simultaneously classic and contemporary.
For the development of their first edition, Cycle, they already partnered with Coverpla. Acting as precursors of the sustainability trend, the three founders chose a bottle that was both lightweight and refillable, synonymous with a new era. Coverpla is now continuing its collaboration with the brand.
Grace and purity
With Un air d’Apogée, Nuée Bleue, Compliment, Sketch, Tanagra and Pour Rêver, the brand has reiterated its choice of the ecoBottle design, an elegant cylindrical shape with a gently rounded base, in 50ml and 100ml formats.
The bottle is part of the ecoLine collection from glassmaker Bormioli Luigi, one of Coverpla’s historic partners.
This collection offers significant lightweighting benefits (-50%) and a reduced environmental impact throughout the value chain. It is equipped with a screw neck for refilling and for the separation of the various components for recycling.
For this new development, Coverpla has accompanied the brand in both its commitment to CSR and its quest for differentiation.
