ESKA LEAF: When Fallen Leaves Become a Source of Creativity
ESKA unveils ESKA LEAF, a new solid board concept developed in collaboration with RELEAF. This innovation gives fallen leaves a second life by transforming them into a material designed to inspire new packaging applications.
What if fallen leaves could become a new resource for packaging?
This is the idea behind ESKA LEAF, an innovative concept born from the collaboration between ESKA and RELEAF, a specialist in transforming fallen leaves into plant-fibre-based material.
Collected notably from the streets and boulevards of Paris, these leaves are given a new life: transformed into a creative and inspiring material, they are incorporated into a solid board concept designed to explore new possibilities in packaging.
Giving New Value to a Natural Resource
With ESKA LEAF, a resource usually considered waste becomes the starting point for a new story.
The project combines ESKA’s expertise in solid board manufacturing with RELEAF’s pioneering know-how in giving fallen leaves a new purpose. This collaboration illustrates how material innovation can draw direct inspiration from the resources already available in our environment.
The concept retains the key qualities of ESKA solid board: a 100% recycled material designed according to circular principles, combined with technology that enables the board to remain perfectly flat, as well as properties of rigidity, durability and high performance.
An Innovation to Discover at LUXE PACK Monaco
Through ESKA LEAF, ESKA also aims to demonstrate that creativity, performance and the exploration of new resources can go hand in hand.
The innovation will be presented to visitors at LUXE PACK Monaco, from September 28 to 30, 2026, at the Grimaldi Forum.
An opportunity to discover firsthand how a simple fallen leaf can find a new purpose, become a new material and open up new creative possibilities for packaging.
