Axilone pushes the boundaries of decoration and finishing.
Decoration and finishing are key assets for the Axilone Group. They enable brands to strengthen their identity and accelerate product launches.
Ahead of LUXE PACK Monaco 2026, Axilone Plastique is preparing to unveil new surface effects. Cristina Alvarez, VP Sales Europe, Vincent du Penhoat, Managing Director of Axilone Plastique sites, and Xavier Guillouet, Expert Decoration Coordinator, present a comprehensive and fully integrated expertise, from creation to industrialization, driven by differentiation, agility, and sustainability.
Why has decoration become strategic for brands?
Cristina Alvarez: In a highly competitive physical and digital environment, differentiation is essential. Decoration enables brands to assert their identity, revitalize a range, or refresh an offer using existing packaging, without having to redesign it entirely.
Axilone is pushing the boundaries of these techniques to deliver distinctive tactile and visual effects and bring new dimensions to decoration.
The Group masters a wide range of in-house techniques and finishes, including Dark Shadows, Golden Leaves, and Gemstones. These can be combined to offer numerous creative possibilities across fragrance, skincare, and color cosmetics.
How is this expertise structured?
Vincent du Penhoat: Over the past 50 years, our expertise in plastic injection has expanded from tooling and molding to assembly and finishing.
Our model is based on a fully integrated value chain, from design to development and industrialization, with innovation embedded at every stage.
More recently, we have strengthened our team of experts and upgraded our laboratory equipment. We are investing nearly €2 million over three years to automate our processes and enhance our testing and characterization capabilities.
