The latest glass packaging innovations presented at LUXE PACK Monaco 2026
Ultra-lightweight bottles, dual-chamber designs, recycled glass and new miniature formats: at LUXE PACK Monaco 2026, glass packaging innovations are exploring new ways to meet the expectations of beauty and fragrance brands. C-itech, Bormioli Luigi, Awantys, Micen and Cosmogen&Asquan are presenting solutions that combine technical expertise, design and a focus on environmental performance.
C-itech pushes the boundaries of drawn glass
A new exhibitor at LUXE PACK Monaco, C-itech is presenting a technology that makes it possible to produce thin-walled drawn glass bottles in more complex shapes.
Until now, drawn glass has mainly been used in the pharmaceutical industry and was largely limited to cylindrical forms. C-itech has developed a process that allows this type of glass to be blown into more elaborate geometries while significantly reducing the amount of material used.
Bormioli Luigi develops a dual-chamber glass bottle
With Indue, Italian glassmaker Bormioli Luigi brings the dual-chamber bottle concept to glass, designed for bi-component formulas.
Developing this solution involved overcoming several technical challenges, particularly ensuring an even distribution of glass while creating two chambers with different capacities within the same container.
Bormioli Luigi is also expanding its standard offering with two new miniature glass bottles: Axis and Pocket.
With a capacity of 10 ml, these fragrance bottles are available with a screw neck as well as in roll-on versions. Axis features a cylindrical shape, while Pocket has a square silhouette. Both models offer a wide range of customization options, including internal and external lacquering, gradient effects, screen printing, metallization, sputtering and hot stamping.
Awantys launches its first glass solution with 60% PCR content
With Awyflint, German company Awantys is unveiling its first recycled glass offering.
Produced in Korea by a partner glassmaker using an electric furnace, Awyflint incorporates 60% post-consumer recycled glass (PCR) while delivering, according to the company, a transparency level of over 95%, corresponding to Grade A glass.
Micen presents a glass airless bottle
Chinese manufacturer Micen is targeting premium beauty brands with a glass airless bottle designed in particular for emulsion-based skincare products.
The solution combines a lightweight glass bottle with a pump system designed to maximize product evacuation.
Cosmogen&Asquan expands its Needle Dropper Glass range
Cosmogen&Asquan is expanding its Needle Dropper Glass range with a new 50 ml format designed for facial and scalp care applications, including serums, gels and oils.
Through these latest innovations, glass continues to evolve on several fronts: lightweighting, recycled content, technical complexity, new application gestures and greater format diversity. These are some of the key directions being explored this year by exhibitors at LUXE PACK Monaco 2026.
