PHOTO 01
Monaco, 12 October 2026 - From 28 to 30 September, LUXE PACK Monaco brought the international luxury packaging community together at the Grimaldi Forum for three days centred on innovation, creativity and new connections. In a market undergoing profound change, the 2026 edition confirmed the Monaco show's ability to keep its experience evolving, with new services for brands and exhibitors, a broader offer and a programme designed to foster business meetings, inspiration and the sharing of expertise alike.

A community that keeps renewing itself

This edition's momentum began with the arrival of around thirty new exhibitors, including start-ups showcased in the dedicated The Portal area, bringing fresh expertise and new perspectives to the show's offer.

New materials, traceability and authentication technologies, connected packaging, sustainable solutions, glassmaking and artisanal craftsmanship, design and services: this new generation of players reflects the wide range of answers now being brought to the challenges of luxury packaging.

Among them, companies such as Injectose, with its cellulose fibre-based injection moulding technology, REKRILL, a bio-based material made from food waste, INURU and its OLED technologies integrated into packaging, and Salviati, heir to the Murano glassmaking tradition, demonstrate LUXE PACK Monaco's ability to bring technological innovation, responsibility and artisanal excellence into dialogue.

The same momentum was felt on the visitor side, with 37% of the brands attending discovering the show for the first time, alongside visiting international delegations.

This renewed diversity confirms LUXE PACK Monaco's purpose: bringing together, in one place, established players and the talents shaping the next chapter of packaging, within a selective ecosystem where brands, manufacturers, designers, start-ups and new initiatives can meet and compare their visions.
1 - to - 1 Meetings - LUXE PACK Monaco

From discovery to connection

A new approach to business
One of the major developments of the 2026 edition was the roll-out of new matchmaking tools, designed to make visits more efficient and encourage high-value meetings.

With Digital Smart Matchmaking, visitors received personalised exhibitor recommendations based on their objectives, expertise and areas of interest.

The new Top Brands programme went a step further, with more than 450 pre-scheduled 1-to-1 meetings, enabling a selection of top buyers and exhibitors to meet around projects and needs identified in advance. Held in a dedicated space, these 15-minute meetings offered a privileged setting to present a project, discover a solution or lay the groundwork for a future collaboration.

These new initiatives reflect an important shift in the LUXE PACK promise: no longer simply bringing the right people together in one place, but actively helping to create the right connections between them. Matchmaking and pre-arranged meetings are now an integral part of an experience designed to make every visit more efficient and foster quality connections.
Visitors were also able to explore innovation from a different angle through three Learning Expeditions, dedicated to exceptional pieces, new materials, and refill & reuse. Led by experts, these guided tours offered a way to explore the show through concrete issues and to go straight to the exhibitors and solutions addressing them.

THE PORTAL

Innovation at the heart of the show
This drive to bring forward the solutions that will transform the packaging of tomorrow was embodied above all in The Portal, an area dedicated to innovative technologies and solutions.

Conceived as a true epicentre of packaging innovation, The Portal brought together innovative companies, including start-ups, around four key themes: eco-innovation, smart packaging, artificial intelligence and new approaches to design.

Workshops, demonstrations and talks gave visitors the chance to discover technologies ranging from new materials and recycling solutions to traceability, connectivity, AI and 3D printing.
The area gave the show experience a particularly dynamic edge: a space where trends are experienced rather than simply observed.

Innovation Unpacked

Putting innovation in front of brands
The big new feature of this edition, Innovation Unpacked, put eight innovations directly in front of the industry. They were selected by a jury of decision-makers from leading international brands, who then took to the stage to present them in person at a dedicated conference.

For this first edition, the following innovations were selected and presented on 28 September on the Monaco stage:
Axilone
Premium eco-designed Beauty Pens
Bormioli Luigi
INDUE dual-cavity bottle
Bosch
Ovjera
C-ITECH
Thin-walled glass bottle
Cloud Beauty Innovation Hub
TL-Tube™

RAIKU

Recyclable bio-based foams for protective packaging
L'Oréal, LVMH Beauty, Interparfums, Diageo, Pernod Ricard and Diptyque were among the companies represented on the jury, assessing the potential of the solutions presented and sharing their views on the innovations most likely to shape the future of luxury packaging.

For Marc Bureau, Head of Packaging Development & Innovation at Diptyque and jury member, what is at stake goes far beyond the selection of projects:

"I remain convinced that this initiative is central, and vital, to our industry, and that it should guide our thinking on the future of packaging and product development. Whether innovation is incremental or disruptive, it deserves to be showcased."

A conviction that captures the ambition of Innovation Unpacked: giving visibility to incremental innovations and more disruptive approaches alike, whether they come from established players or from young companies and start-ups.

LUXE PACK in Green

Making responsible innovation a driver of change

More than ever, environmental transformation stood out as one of the defining issues of the 2026 edition.

In partnership with INFINITY GLOBAL, LUXE PACK in Green highlighted the innovations and initiatives making a tangible contribution to moving luxury packaging towards more responsible models. The solutions on show reflected an approach to sustainability that no longer stops at reducing impact, but seeks to combine performance, quality, desirability and responsibility.

At the heart of the show, the LUXE PACK in Green exhibition gave visitors the opportunity to discover the shortlisted projects and compare the most inspiring solutions of the edition. The ceremony then gave the floor to the finalists, who presented their projects to a jury made up of six major international houses: Chanel, Hennessy, Groupe Rocher, Christian Dior Parfums, Guerlain and YSL Beauté.

This diversity of perspectives adds weight to the award: innovations are judged not only on their environmental ambition, but also on their ability to meet the concrete requirements of luxury brands.

The two categories of the LUXE PACK in Green Awards recognised, on the one hand, eco-designed packaging innovationscombining design, performance and reduced environmental impact and, on the other, CSR initiatives committed to a broader transformation of value chains.

Decoding the industry's transformation

A forward-looking programme
Beyond the solutions presented on the stands, LUXE PACK Monaco established itself as a place to reflect on the major transformations reshaping the luxury packaging industry today.

Innovation, new materials, sustainability, regulation, traceability, artificial intelligence, refill & reuse and changing consumer expectations: the conferences and talks brought together the perspectives of major houses, experts, designers and newcomers to the ecosystem.

Among the highlights, Pernod Ricard shared its vision of innovation as a lever for growth and brand experience, while Le Journal du Luxe and Eric Briones offered their take on how luxury is changing and on the new role packaging plays in the brand experience.

This edition also welcomed AURA Consortium and TRASCE for the first time. Addressing topics such as the digital product passport, traceability and the transformation of value chains, these consortia illustrated the need for new forms of collaboration to meet the challenges facing the industry.

And Eric Fabre, Managing Director of FRAGONARD, reflected on the house's positioning and its place in the history of luxury as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.
This diversity of viewpoints reflects LUXE PACK Monaco's ambition: not just to show what is changing in packaging, but to give professionals the keys to understanding why and how the industry is evolving.

Creativity, craftsmanship and new experiences

Packaging as a means of expression
LUXE PACK Monaco also put the spotlight on the creativity and craftsmanship that turn packaging into a true means of expression for brands.

With Make a Mark, designers and manufacturers explored new possibilities around materials, technologies, design and sustainability, in a laboratory dedicated to the future of premium packaging. Meanwhile, Formes de Luxe presented the entries for its Awards at the heart of the show, highlighting the most remarkable innovations developed by manufacturers and their partner brands.
IRCAM AMPLIFY - LUXE PACK monaco
The exploration continued with more sensory and experiential approaches. La Fabrique Singulière opened a dialogue between packaging, fine craftsmanship, materials and creation, while IRCAM Amplify invited visitors to discover sound as a new dimension of packaging identity, with concepts built around opening, gesture and unboxing.

All these initiatives illustrate how luxury packaging is evolving: beyond its primary function, it is becoming an object of experience, emotion and desirability, where materials, design, craftsmanship and innovation come together.

An experience that carries on from morning to night

And because the best collaborations are not only born in the aisles, LUXE PACK Monaco kept the conversation going throughout the day and into the evening. From the Formes de Luxe breakfast debate, devoted this year to the transformation of the luxury packaging value chain, to the one-to-one meetings, the networking areas, the VIP Lounge and the show cocktail, opportunities to talk with peers, meet new partners and carry on the discussions punctuated the experience from opening to close.

"With its international reach, LUXE PACK Monaco is rightly the platform where global trends come together and are discussed."

For Fabienne Germond, Director of Luxe Pack Shows, this evolution is part of a wider ambition for the division's events:

"One of LUXE PACK Monaco's distinctive features is the particular care it takes to offer a 'range' of exhibitors that truly represents the market, in terms of sectors, materials and countries of origin, always based on the quality of expertise and products."

In Monaco, this ambition translates into an experience that now brings together sourcing, content, innovation and quality connections more closely than ever.
