- The Sustainable Packaging Initiative for CosmEtics (SPICE) brings together leading cosmetics brands and packaging stakeholders with a shared ambition: to collectively shape the future of sustainable packaging in the beauty sector. Launched in 2018 by L’Oréal and Quantis, SPICE now gathers over 26 international members, including global brands, suppliers, and associations across the packaging value chain. Together, SPICE members co-develop science-based methodologies, harmonized data, and practical eco-design tool to guide resilient decision-making and improve the environmental performance of cosmetics packaging of the entire packaging value chain.
