RISSMANN Expands Its Premium Packaging Portfolio with New Concepts
Ahead of the upcoming international luxury packaging events, RISSMANN is unveiling a series of new developments that reflect its expanding expertise across materials, opening mechanisms and premium finishing techniques.
Long recognized for its high-end secondary paper and paperboard packaging, the company is introducing a range of new concepts this year for the fragrance, beauty, jewellery and wines & spirits sectors. The common thread: transforming packaging into a true brand experience.
From Paper to Textile: Expanding Creative Horizons
Among the latest innovations is Fabric Love Bag, the first textile concept developed by the RISSMANN DesignLab. Made from 320 gsm cotton canvas, the bag features an integrated cut-out that serves as both a hand and shoulder carry handle, eliminating the need for additional components. The design optimizes material usage while enhancing durability. The textile range also includes dust bags, tote bags and garment bags.
Another new concept, Shell Box, reimagines the mono-material gift box with a smooth opening mechanism that gradually transforms the pack from a protective enclosure into a product display. Its customizable interior can accommodate bespoke inserts for a wide range of applications, from gifting editions and Advent calendars to seasonal retail activations.
The manufacturer is also introducing a fresh interpretation of the boutique bag, inspired by the aesthetics of luxury handbags. Crafted from FSC®-certified paper, the design combines textured surfaces, embossed details and multicoloured woven paper handles to create a distinctive visual identity. According to RISSMANN, the concept also responds to the emergence of new market segments, including children's fine fragrance, a category expected to experience sustained growth in the coming years.
Packaging as a Brand Experience
Beyond these latest launches, RISSMANN continues to develop packaging solutions where engineering plays a central role in the customer experience. Its BEAUTY Box and JWLRY Box collections feature an innovative lever-action opening mechanism that automatically tilts the inner tray when the box is opened. Without the need for additional components, the pack instantly transforms into a presentation display, turning the unboxing ritual into an integral part of the brand experience.
These new developments reflect RISSMANN's strategy of combining creativity, customization and responsible manufacturing. Founded in 1855, the company designs and produces premium paper-based packaging for the beauty, fashion, jewellery, and wines & spirits industries, supported by manufacturing facilities across Europe, Asia and the Americas and a strong commitment to FSC®-certified materials.
