- A biological engineer by training (Universities of Compiègne and New York), Marc Sorin began his professional career in 1988 at BFA Engineering, an industrial engineering consultancy, as a Project Manager, where he managed industrial projects in the food industry, from preliminary studies through to the start of production. In 1994, he joined the Nestlé Waters Group, where he held responsibilities in industrial engineering, first for France and then for the North American and South American regions. In 2000, he was appointed Director of the Contrex plant, then, in June 2003, Industrial Director for Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for four plants located in Poland, Hungary and Russia. In 2007, he became Industrial Director for France and Belgium, with responsibility for seven production sites employing a total of 2,600 people. In May 2010, Marc joined the LVMH Group as Operations Director of Hennessy and became a member of the Executive Committee. Since then, he has supported the development and international reach of the Hennessy brand by strengthening its production foundations through new workshops, new areas of expertise and an agile approach to innovation. Since 2024, Marc has also coordinated operations within LVMH’s Wines and Spirits division.
