Live from LUXE PACK Monaco 2024: Century Box Mainetti teams up with Atomic Digital Design for augmented packaging
Century Box Mainetti’s booth at LUXE PACK Monaco 2024 is playing host to live demonstrations of two AR-enhanced packaging solutions developed with Atomic Digital Design.
In a time when capturing consumers’ attention is increasingly difficult, Century Box Mainetti and Paris-based agency Atomic Digital Design have partnered to develop packaging with immersive content in a bid to offer brands “a more engaging way to narrate brand experiences”.
LUXE PACK Monaco 2024 is the showcase for two concepts developed by the partners: a watch box, and a bag containing a skincare product. When a QR code on the box is scanned, a rotating 3D watch appears; its face separates into several layers to highlight the timepiece’s complexity. “It’s a way to show what’s inside the box in a fun and innovative way, with the box itself becoming a real object of value,” Louis Lavis, Executive Producer at Atomic Digital Design, tells Formes de Luxe. As for the bag, the augmented reality component creates a perception of depth, with the skincare product inside the centerpiece of a 3D animation.
