Smurfit WestRock’s packaging offer gears up for the luxury market

Resulting from the merger of Smurfit Kappa and WestRock in July 2024, Smurfit WestRock group is highlighting the synergies it can offer the luxury sector through its range of carton packaging for wines, spirits and beauty products. In line with demand for more sustainable options, the group’s approach to innovation is increasingly focused on monomaterial solutions. As to its development in the luxury-goods sector, France is a key market where it is bolstering its industrial footprint.
At the 2024 edition of LUXE PACK Monaco, Smurfit WestRock presented its joint offering for the first time since the two packaging heavyweights merged in summer 2024. Based on paper and cardboard solutions, this offer ranges from transport packaging to individual boxes, as well as tubes, point-of-sale merchandising displays and the Bag-in-Box (a brand name registered by Smurfit Kappa), a solution popular in the wine industry.
