[LuxePackFormulation] Luxe Pack Monaco 2024: Agrimer surfs on blue beauty

Agrimer’s mission is to develop marine resources for its cosmetics formulas. In addition to innovations such as Sealuliss, a patented active ingredient, the supplier harvests its own algae and offers a portfolio that includes 100% natural products.

It’s not by chance that Eric Mérand joined Agrimer, a supplier based in Plouguerneau, Finistère, a few months ago as Sales Director France and International. The family-run group, founded in 1986 (95 employees and sales of €1m, 70% of which are generated in France), is seeing strong growth. This is partly due to growing consumer demand for natural, more eco-responsible cosmetics and the ‘blue beauty’ trend for products that claim to protect the world’s oceans. Another boon for Agrimer is brands’ increasing focus on marketing, meaning that product development and manufacturing is being delegated more and more to specialized laboratories.
