ZIGNAGO VETRO : Collection MoreLite

At Zignago Vetro, sustainability is a core value that guides every decision and innovation we make. The MoreLite Collection is the result of our ongoing commitment to research and development, aimed at offering increasingly sustainable solutions.
This collection includes three of the most indemand containers in the cosmetics and perfumery sector, produced with a significant reduction in glass weight, along with an innovative product that stands as the lightest in our entire product line. MoreLite Collection is proof that we can combine quality, efficiency, and a strong focus on the environment.
DESIGN
Moreover, MoreLite containers are perfectly suited for sustainable packaging solutions, including the use of recycled or minimal materials, further contributing to the reduction of environmental impact during the distribution phase.
REDUCTION MATERIALS
In the production process of the MoreLite line, a significant reduction in raw materials is achieved through the lightening of the glass used for each container. Compared to previous versions or comparable market standards, each MoreLite container uses less glass material, without compromising the mechanical, functional, or aesthetic properties of the product. Regarding the glass weight of various products in the MoreLite line, it is reduced by 23%–30.5% compared to the standard product. This reduction results in lower CO₂ emissions during the melting phase, as the glass production process is highly energy-intensive and closely linked to the amount of material processed. At the same time, the reduced weight of containers leads to a decreased environmental impact during transportation, thanks to lighter loads and consequently lower fuel consumption. The material used remains single-component glass, naturally 100% and infinitely recyclable, with no loss of quality.
PROCESSUS DE PRODUCTION
The production process of the MoreLite line has been optimized to significantly reduce environmental impact at every stage, from melting to distribution.
Thanks to glass lightweighting technology, we use a reduced amount of raw materials for each container produced. This results in lower consumption of natural resources (such as silica sand, soda ash, and limestone), as well as a decrease in the energy required for melting — one of the most energy-intensive phases of glass production.
The production plant is partially powered by renewable energy sources and uses clean technologies and heat recovery systems, which help reduce emissions and limit heat dispersion, thus improving overall efficiency.
Finally, the reduced weight of MoreLite containers results in a lower environmental impact in terms of logistics and transportation, contributing to a more sustainable supply chain even in the distribution phase.
SUPPLY CHAIN
Thanks to the lightweight design of the glass containers, each unit weighs significantly less compared to traditional standards. This weight reduction translates into lighter overall loads, which helps reduce fuel consumption.
MARKET ADAPTABILITY
MoreLite products have been lightened through a careful redesign process that reduces the weight of the container while maintaining the functional and aesthetic characteristics required by the market.
The MoreLite Collection is Zignago Vetro’s response to market demands: sustainable products available in different formats and with designs that meet customer needs, combining environmental awareness with aesthetic quality.

END OF LIFE
The end of the life cycle is made extremely simple by the very “nature” of all MoreLite products: glass is recyclable and can be infinitely recycled through Circular Economy processes.
In addition to being recycled and transformed back into a glass product, its simple and linear design also allows it to be reused and repurposed for a variety of uses — thus giving it a second life, endlessly.
