Bormioli Luigi, the glassmaking expertise behind Ferragamo’s refillable “Fiamma” fragrance bottle

Bormioli Luigi, the glassmaking expertise behind Ferragamo’s refillable “Fiamma” fragrance bottle
Fiamma” is Ferragamo’s first women’s fragrance developed under the artistic direction of Maximilian Davis, and the first created with Inter Parfums Inc., which signed a licensing agreement with the Italian fashion house in 2021.

Composed by perfumer Clément Gavarry (Firmenich), the eau de parfum combines notes of white pear, gardenia, amber, and spicy accents.

The refillable bottle was produced by Bormioli Luigi. According to the Italian glassmaker, the bottle’s complex shape presented a true technical challenge due to its asymmetry on all facets. Bormioli Luigi also handled the decoration, achieving the gold finish through a process of masked metallization and two-tone screen printing.

The zamak cap, designed by Perfume Packaging International, features a distinctive cut with sculpted lines that echo the bottle’s organic form. It is engraved with the initial F.
