Carbios x Sleever partnership develops compostable sleeves targeting wine and spirits
The exclusive partnership between Carbios and Sleever aims to develop home compost biodegradable shrink sleeves in what is said to be a market first. Wines and spirits is a particular focus for the suppliers.
Shrink sleeve label technology specialist Sleever and biochemistry company Carbios, focused on reinventing life cycles of textiles and plastics, have announced an exclusive long-term partnership. The tie-up will see the two companies jointly develop and commercialize what they state are the “first home compost biodegradable shrinksleeve labels”.
