Aptar Beauty is launching its new Gaïa airless packaging system worldwide, debuting with Clarins for its Total Eye Lift eye cream. This launch reflects the shared ambition of both brands to combine innovation, sustainability, and user experience, while significantly reducing the environmental footprint of their products.

A sustainable and ingenious design

The Gaïa system features a reusable metal case and plastic refills equipped with a bi-injected collar gasket ensuring perfect sealing and minimal air intake.
Inspired by the
mechanism of a ballpoint pen, the refill operates through a simple push-and-pull movement — a smooth, intuitive gesture that makes replacement quick and effortless.
To guarantee product safety, each refill includes a double-seal protection system: the first barrier is manually removed by the consumer, while the second opens automatically when the refill is inserted into the case. This patented mechanism by Aptar prevents any contamination of the formula and ensures optimal product preservation.

Customization and performance serving Clarins

Although the refills are specifically designed for their matching case, they can also be sold separately as complementary refills.
For its
Total Eye Lift product, Clarins has chosen an exclusive red metal case in a 15 ml format, combining elegance and simplicity. All the technical components remain hidden, offering a clean, minimalist design aligned with the brand’s premium identity.
External components — such as the actuator or outer shell — can be customized according to each brand’s needs, reinforcing the high-end and flexible nature of the Gaïa platform.
