Cosmogen and Anaïk explore the creative potential of artificial intelligence in design
More a tool for stimulation than replacement, technology is taking hold in design without erasing its human dimension. While artificial intelligence is revolutionizing working methods, it leaves the essence of the craft intact: emotion and creativity.

“If we don’t use AI, we’re dead,” says Priscille Allais, CEO of Cosmogen, highlighting how quickly packaging companies are integrating AI into their processes. Yet, AI does not replace the creative, the engineer, or the project manager — it acts as a lever for inspiration and efficiency.

At Anaïk, a manufacturer of gifts, packaging, and accessories based in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, the approach began in 2021. “We didn’t want to rush in without reflection,” explains Cécile Béniguel, Product Director.

The company then set up a multidisciplinary working group — including management, design, innovation, finance, and HR — supported by a data scientist, to explore relevant ways to integrate AI into the creative process.
