Amcor: Bulldog Skincare Original product range

Amcor has achieved significant material savings as part of its ongoing partnership with the men’s skincare brand Bulldog.

Significant weight reduction


The 16.67% reduction in the wall thickness of each 50 mm tube sleeve, used for several Bulldog products in 100 ml and 150 ml formats, is expected to save around 8.5 tons of plastic per year.

A collaboration between Amcor and Bulldog


This change is the result of close collaboration between Amcor and Bulldog aimed at further enhancing the sustainability features of Bulldog products. Amcor developed a series of rigorous tests to demonstrate that usability and consumer experience were not compromised by this change, and that the new lightweight tube maintained print quality and sealing performance. The lighter tube sleeve is fully compatible with the existing cap and shoulder, ensuring that the filling process is not affected.

Integration of recycled plastic


In addition to lightweighting, Amcor has increased the proportion of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in the entire tube to more than 62%.

Bulldog’s sustainable commitment


From the beginning, Bulldog has been committed to offering attractive and more sustainable products and has used certified sugarcane supplied by Amcor for its virgin materials since 2017. As a biopolymer derived from food production, sugarcane-based plastic reduces Bulldog’s dependence on fossil fuels.
