LUXE PACK Monaco 2024: Hakuhodo cultivates a new kind of calligraphy
Hakuhodo will attend Luxe Pack Monaco’s 2024 show to tap into market demand. The Japanese company will also showcase its new makeup brushes, layered with synthetic and natural fibers and designed to offer higher performance than its traditional offer.
Hakuhodo opted to tap into the age-old national tradition of calligraphy when it debuted its activities in 1974. Although the Hiroshima-based business started out by selling tools to artists, doll makers and other industries, the 500,000 brushes that are currently produced each month in its factories now mainly target the beauty sector and now make up 95% of its business.
