EcoBeautyScore: the launch is officially underway
EcoBeautyScore, the first scientific environmental scoring system for cosmetics and personal care products at a global scale, has been officially launched in Europe.
Pioneering beauty brands such as Eucerin, Garnier, L’Oréal Paris, Neutrogena, Nivea, Schauma, among others, have started to publish their scores in several European markets, including the United Kingdom.
Developed over a three-year period by the non-profit EcoBeautyScore Association, in collaboration with more than 70 companies and federations from the cosmetics and hygiene sector, this system provides brands and retailers with a clear, transparent, and harmonized tool to assess and communicate the environmental footprint of their products.
