Record footfall for LUXE PACK Monaco with 10,420 visitors

With visitor numbers up 10.5% (i.e. 10,420 visitors), LUXE PACK Monaco’s footfall was at its highest since it was founded 35 years ago.

This surge in visitor numbers over the past two years (up 10% compared to 2022 and up 15% compared to 2021) can be explained by the ever-greater number of companies exhibiting, up 19%. High-profile decision-makers, still the majority, gained 2 points, not to mention the consolidation of foreign visitorship, which represents more than half of visitors from 95 different countries, with a significant increase in visitors from the UK (up 25% compared to 2022). These figures make LUXE PACK Monaco the biggest melting pot in the creative packaging industry.

‘The strong increase in the number of visitors is a source of great satisfaction for us and confirms that brands and contractors can find pertinent solutions for their packaging projects and responses to the challenges in this sector at LUXE PACK MONACO’, explained Fabienne Germond, Trade Fair Director.

‘LUXE PACK’s reputation and community throughout the four corners of the world demonstrate that LUXE PACK Monaco is the place of expression par excellence for packaging professionals. It’s an immersive and unique event that unveils trends and innovations across an entire industry. This recognition is also the result of the commitment of exhibitors, who, through their innovation and creativity, make LUXE PACK a must-attend event’, continued Germond.

Successful launch for LUXE Home

Launched this year, the new LUXE Home space perfectly fulfilled its mission of supporting brands in the specific segment of home fragrance products by connecting them with the best suppliers in this field.

Whether they came from beauty, fashion, leather goods, spirits, hotels or jewellery or other sectors, visitors to the Home area discovered candles, diffusers, matches, snuffers, fragrance sticks, dry diffusion with bead encapsulators, etc. This was a real cradle of inspiration for their future fragrance product creations.

Thanks to the visitors to this space and the projects discussed during the event, LUXE Home will be brought back in 2024 with new solutions, as the home fragrance sector is booming.

LUXE PACK in Green rewards three exhibitors

Once again this year, there were a large number of entries for the LUXE PACK in Green Awards in partnership with INFINITY GLOBAL (52 entries for both categories), where the exhibitors presented their best packaging innovations and CSR initiatives to the panel.

Four companies were named in category 1 ‘Best Sustainable Packaging Innovation’: Adhespack, Furlanis, Holmen Iggesund, and James Cropper.

ADHESPACK and its 100% paper perfume sample solution won the award. With no plastic or aluminium, these fragrant labels are recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable in 154 days.

In Category 2 ‘Best CSR Initiative’, the panel nominated three exhibitors: Albéa, GCA, and Groupe Pochet

Albéa won with RECYMakeUp, a project chosen by CITEO and Adelphe, which aims to improve the recyclability of plastic packaging used in make-up and care products and to share best practices with the entire industry in order to advance the sector.

But the panel pleasantly surprised everyone by awarding their ‘Favourite’ to the EKOMAT recycling project presented by GCA .

Conducted in Yalova (Turkey) since June 2022, the project aims not only to collect and recycle glass, metal, and plastic beverage containers, but it also aims to raise awareness and educate the local population.
