Located in Grasse, the historical birthplace of perfumery, Bougie & Senteur stands out for the quality of its local partnerships and the breadth of its “full-service” offering, both in the field of home products and cosmetics. Strong points that the company has chosen to highlight to distinguish itself in a rapidly growing market.
“According to Google trends, the number of searches for ‘scented candles’ on search engines has quadrupled in 10 years,” says Florentine Berodias, President of Bougie & Senteur. Of course, the competition is fierce in this market, but the company, which already has nearly 25 years of existence, has several assets to showcase. First and foremost, its location: its factory is located in Grasse and maintains close ties with local perfumers and master perfumers to whom it entrusts the development of its fragrances.
As for the rest, it has all the in-house expertise to offer a complete service to its clients, for whom it creates candles and home products tailored to their image (diffusers, sprays, and pillow mists), as well as cosmetic products since 2007 (massage candles, eau de toilette, solid perfumes). “The client comes with an idea, leaves with a finished and packaged product! However, depending on the needs, we can also provide only part of the service: for example, only bottle filling if the client has their own fragrance” explains Florentine Berodias.
Finally, to meet the growing environmental responsibility demands of its clients, the company offers an alternative to paraffin candles with 100% vegetable wax candles, made from soybean oil, coconut oil, and beeswax, with no palm oil.
